Thirlmere Quality Timbers is a family owned and operated business that established in 1980 at Thirlmere NSW by Greg and Deb Hinton.

You may know or heard of  Thirlmere Rural Timbers but when owner Debbie formed a partnership with son Aaron and his wife Larissa we decided to change the name and start moving into other areas of the industry.

Our timber is sourced from sustainable regrowth forests and we take very seriously the laws and regulations and we make sure they are complied with.

After we transport our logs to Thirlmere our team then processes the timber into fencing, veranda posts, Sawn timber and basically anything our customers may be looking for.

Ninety percent of all our products are produced right here in Thirlmere. We don’t just have rural timber we also have decorative timbers and posts. We have a large range of Australian hardwoods and we are able to supply treated pine on request.
